Frontier Airlines‘ headquarters will soon be back in Denver, according to an announcement yesterday indicating that a new chief executive and senior management team will be located in the Mile-High City.
David Siegel was named theĀ CEO, president, and interim chief operating officer of Frontier Airlines in the announcement on Thursday and pledged reconnect the business with the community by working with as many city and state political and business leaders as possible. Additionally, Siegel plans to be more involved with sponsorships and activities as well as bringing as many jobs back to Denver as possible.
Frontier’s fourth quarter numbers from 2011 show that earnings were higher than expected, and Siegel expects the revision to make the airline company more attractive to private equity investors or anotherĀ airline.
Although the future is unclear for Frontier Airlines and the company’s home in Denver, it is very exciting news to see the headquarters return to the Mile-High City. How do you think Frontier will be met with its return to the city?
